Dr. Navid Sadoughi is a native of Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland College Park Campus where he received his bachelor of science. Soon after, he earned his doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Sadoughi did his postrgraduate training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center–the only level 1 trauma center in Queens, New York. During his residency training, he served as the chief resident where he successfully treated complex diabetic foot infections, sports medicine injuries, and all types of traumatic foot and ankle injuries. Dr. Sadoughi also had additional training in innovative surgical treatments of various foot and ankle pathologies, including, but not limited to: ankle replacement and external fixation. He is compassionate about his patients and always strives to give them the best care possible. As a panel physician at the Washington Adventist Hospital Advanced Wound Care center in Takoma Park, Maryland, Dr. Sadoughi treats and manages complex diabetic and lower extremity wounds. Dr. Sadoughi is board qualified by the prestigious American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Furthermore, Dr. Sadoughi is an associate of the American college of foot and ankle surgery. He has a comprehensive approach towards his patients and he believes in exhausting all the conservative methods before an invasive surgical procedure is performed. Dr. Sadoughi is an energetic fellow. In his spare time, he does various recreational activities. He enjoys playing tennis, golf, and soccer. He is also a man of history, and he enjoy learning about history. Whenever possible, he goes to the beach to enjoy and bask in the warm sunlight
